Terrina Chrishell
Terrina Christopherhell Stause [1] was born on July 21, 1982. Her most well-known role is her role as Amanda Dillon in All My Children and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky native. She went to Murray State University, from which she received her B.A. She began performing in theatre in 2003. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an evocative term born out of the unique circumstances surrounding her birth. Her mother was born in an Shell station, and Chris was present during the delivery. Strause, however, denies any rumors regarding her birth. She told Strause that her mother was having car trouble and that she stopped at an auto repair shop. As she waited in the gas station, she went into pre-labor and was assisted by the car attendant to get her to the hospital. Strause was born in the hospital. Her mother who was half Japanese/half Spanish and split before she knew she was expecting. Jeff is her stepfather. Chrishell Strause missed middle school for a full year because she was forced to live in the tent. Strause remembered the time she washed her hair in a river taking food stamps and hiding her real identity from her classmates. The parents of Strause "struggled with addiction and mental health" and for a period when she joined the Worldwide Church of God when she was 10 years old. Strause says her mother was a self-righteous, free-spirited woman. Her mother didn't have an occupation that was steady.
