Lily Rabe
American actress Lily Rabe. Her most famous work is her many roles in the FX anthology horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). As Portia in the Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated to the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe was also seen on TV in The Whispers (2015) and The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2021) as well as The First Lady (2022). Rabe was in Never Again with her mother Jill Clayburgh. Her professional stage debut was staged at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts and she reprised her role alongside her mother. She was a star in speaking well of the dead by Israel Horovitz and The Crazy Girl (Frank Pugliese) which were one-act plays that allowed her to earn an Equity Card. [9] She returned to the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003 to perform in Proof by David Auburn. The same year, she appeared in the film Mona Lisa Smile. The actress returned to New York shortly after she completed her degree. From September 29 through October 2 of 2004, she appeared in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor, one of a series of one-act plays presented in the form of The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
